All Nations Church Dublin Podcast
At All Nations Church, you will begin a journey of discovery: rediscovery! Jesus said in John 10:10 “ that I have come that you may have life and have it more abundantly.” He was saying that we can rediscover life in Him. Our calling is to connect people with their Creator, and to help them rediscover this abundant life He has promised to those who follow Him. We believe that there are 5 keys to the rediscovery of this life: The Bible – every week you will hear an uplifting Bible-based message which will help you to know God better and to live the Christian life. Worship & Prayer – we passionately believe that both are a vital means of connecting with our Creator. We were made to walk with God. Lifegroups – “No man is an island” – we were made to walk with each other. Whether in the church or in people’s homes, there is a weekly opportunity to be encouraged, build relationships and grow in our relationship with God Service – “Life’s most persistent and urgent question is what are you doing for others?” - Martin Luther King. We can make a difference in our community by loving and serving. Why not get involved in one of our teams? Whether it is feeding the homeless, or simply greeting a newcomer with a cup of coffee and a smile, there is a team that will suit you! Creativity – You only have to look at a beautiful sunset to know that our God is a creative God! So allow Him to awaken the creativity in you! That is why we encourage music, art, dance, drama as a means of glorifying God.

Philip Maumbe - Waiting on God

In today's fast-paced society, we want everything now. Everyone is in a rush to keep up with everyone else. It's a daily race fueled by earthly passions and selfish desires, everyone going nowhere, fast.
But as followers of Christ, our direction is given by our Creator and it's only when we quiet our being that we hear and understand that direction. Sometimes, God is the one telling us to wait because He knows what is ahead, when we can't see that far ourselves.
"He says, “Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth."
Psalm 46:10
In today's message, our dear brother Philip is sharing with us how to patiently, quietly and expectantly wait on God.

Pastor John Ahern - We See Jesus (part two)

Wednesday Aug 11, 2021
In the second part of this message, Pastor John explores the remaining points that play a key role if we want to see Jesus.
First point from part one of this message is: "We see Jesus as we seek Him."
The second one is what Jesus called us to do in Matthew 11:29 when He said: "Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls."
"We see Him as we study Him."
We must be diligent in reading as we are in eating, sleeping and exercising.
The third and final point is: "We see Him as we serve Him."
May this message bless you and encourage you to seek to look upon and know our Saviour.

Pastor John Ahern - We See Jesus

Have you ever encountered Christ?
Do you know His voice?
Have you been filled with the Holy Spirit?
It is possible to be baptized, confirmed, speaking in tongues and yet not have seen Jesus. It is possible to know a lot about God and Christ and yet not to know Him personally, experientially. To go beyond a life of religiosity and step into an authentic relationship with Christ, one must see Him.
This message teaches us that in order to see Him, we must seek Him and once we experience Christ, our lives are transformed for eternity. As Augustine de Hippo described it, “To fall in love with God is the greatest romance; to seek him the greatest adventure; to find him, the greatest human achievement.”

Pastor John Ahern - Thankful (part three)

Tuesday Jul 27, 2021
In 1 Thessalonians 5:18 the Bible says: "Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus."
Our lives' circumstances may not all be positive and we may have reasons to be resentful but the will of God is for us to give thanks. His will is that which is good for us. On this A.W. Pink said: "Yes, give thanks for "all things" for, as it has been well said "Our disappointments are but His appointments."
If you want to have the assurance that God is with you regardless of your situation, the key is thanksgiving. As our brother Gian shared in last week's testimony, thankfulness is a choice; one that will benefit you more than anyone else.
Join us for the final lesson in this series as we continue learning thankfulness from God's word.

Pastor John Ahern - Thankful (part two)

Wednesday Jul 21, 2021
Anne Graham Lotz once said: "The key to thankfulness is not to view God through the lens of our circumstances, but to view our circumstances through the lens of God’s love and sovereign purpose."
Just like the lepers from Luke 17:17 who experienced God's love and sovereign purpose, only one of them showed his gratitude and that was the one that turned back to show it.
Not being thankful is a fault of the human race. Feeling gratitude and not expressing it is like wrapping a present and not giving it.
Many are guilty for not giving God thanks. We are loud and insistent when we ask God for things but not when we give thanks.
It is so important to come into God's presence to give thanks. If they give thanks in heaven, how much more should we on earth?
Let this message inspire you and motivate you to make thanksgiving an integral part of your life.

In Psalm 100, the Psalmist says:
"Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name. For the LORD is good and his love endures forever; his faithfulness continues through all generations."
This timeless message reverberates through time regardless of the age we live in. Regardless of what goes right and what goes wrong, God deserves the glory. Psalm 107:1 says:
"Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good; his love endures forever."
Thankfulness opens the doors while arrogance holds them closed. If you are breathing today, God is still working. Join us in giving God thanks for everything in our lives. In Psalm 103:2 it says:
"Bless the LORD, O my soul, And forget not all His benefits."

Pastor John Ahern - On the Edge of Eternity (part three)

Eternity only holds terror for those who die without the knowledge of Jesus Christ. He says in John 17:3 that "this is eternal life: that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent." In other words, Jesus makes it clear that there is a Heaven or Hell.
In this last message of this series, Pastor John is showing us how we can awaken and prepare for eternity and how we must respond to eternity.
As John Tillotson once said, "He who provides for this life, but takes no care for eternity, is wise for a moment, but a fool forever." Let's take heart and meditate on this powerful message, keeping in mind that it is the goodness of God that leads us to repentance but it is the fear of God that leads us to eternity.

When Simon Peter was asked by Jesus "Who do you say I am?", Jesus answered in Matthew 16:17-18:
"Blessed are you, Simon son of Jonah, for this was not revealed to you by flesh and blood, but by my Father in heaven. And I tell you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not overcome it."
Jesus' answer makes it clear that His church won't be overcome by Hades, or hell. According to the Bible, there are only two outcomes for eternity: Heaven or Hell; and one day we will pass on into eternity.
This message is a reminder of that and of the fact that we need to make a sober assessment of our life: are we ready to face death?
We live, we love, we leave; we have a date of birth and a date of death and what comes in between determines what comes after for eternity. We are free to live as we want but let us keep in mind that if we won't receive Christ, He won't receive us.
